Nothing so dramatic as a spot on an eyelid I am afraid.

My 'friend' has started developing spots/lumps/bruised spots or something in his nether regions (NO, I WILL NOT POST PHOTOS). They are noticably more painful after he has been riding.

It looks a bit like spots but without any head to them. The skin is then bruised as the spot rubs when pedalling. Nothing develops in terms of a spot but they can be bloody painful and last for weeks apparently. Neither washing regularly nor Vasaline (?!?) work.

Any suggestions?

From my limited experience, that sounds like arse-abcesses to me.

Also from my experience I shall paraphrase the advice I was repeatedly given: "I had those when I was about four years old and dug 'em out with a rusty teaspoon: just MTFU and pop it, you girl."

EDIT: bum spots from cycling have can sometimes be prevented and lessened by lashings of Germolene on yer cheeks beforehand.

This is true.

And I'm not a doctor either.

It may just be some a simple rash. Has *he* tried hydrocortisone cream or just savlon when he's not riding?

Could be pesticide burns. Was the cucumber properly washed under the tap?
