Can you recommend a mobile mechanic or local independent garage that is trustworthy, reliable and v.local to M32 (Stretford) to carry out a list of jobs, namely
Brake discs and pads
Service, including timing belt
Diagnose what feels like a clutch with air in it and fix it
Fix bonnet catch
This is for a 58 VW Caddy that is declared SORN so I'd need it to be picked up. A mobile mechanic might be best unless a local garage is willing and has a way of transporting it.
Garrity's vehicle services down the road in Davyhulme. I've been taking mine and my wife's cars there for over 10 years now and they're dead straight. Not sure about the recovery though but in the past they've taken mine home and left it on the drive for me with a note through my door to say pop in to pay when convenient. Highly recommended.
