You'll look back at photos in a few years and think "WTF was I thinking?"

So just leave them on the shelf FFS.

Jeez, I wore them first time round. And hot pants.

Had a good set of pins then.

Actually last year my daughter wore one. She has an hourglass figure and it showed it off perfectly.

Of course I'm jealous. 👿

TSY - she's a handful, worse than me and you know what I'm like. 😀

Actually, she doesn't 'get' exercise. "I don't need to" she says ... and she's right. 👿

Edit: she's too young for you!

I like to be kept on my toes 😉

Could be just the thing I need... as long as she co-incides with my rest days?

Edit: Whoah whoah whaoh... how old do you think I am?!

TSY - will Sammie-Louise be resident on here for two weeks whilst you're riding [s]slacking[/s] ? Have you organised for [s]roadie[/s] Jamie and molgrips to put in overtime on here? I and many others need to be entertained. 😀

Cougar - keep up!

At the risk of a virtual slap, you know what they say, more than a handful's wasted....

Having just had a google at maxi dresses - imho - not as bad as saggy ugg boots or what you see in the top shop window, or half the stuff in new look (my girlfriend often heads for the door quickly when I point out how ugly most of the clothing is in there quite loudly)

bigyinn.. I'm willing to put myself on the line to test the truth of that saying.

C_G I honestly don't know what's going to happen. The longest I've been without posting in the last 9 months is probably 4 days. I assume some young gun will step into the breach and then I'll be able to come back and lurk with the occasional trivial comment.

I think there's quite a bit of stuff about now that people will regret in a few years. Specifically jumpsuits and those MC hammer pants. Maxi dresses by comparison are fine.

I only know what a maxi dress is cos my mrs got a few whilst pregnant.

my gf has a few maxi dresses, i think they are pretty nice. They tend to verge on the cleavage display side as the legs are hidden 🙂

You youngsters don't know what you're missing.
The great advantage of maxi dresses was that a young lady could "sit" upon her boyfriend in a park or picnic-spot in full view of passers-by, while appearing to be perfectly innocent.
Happy days.

moses has a good point, the benefits of a maxi dress is that providing you lean forward slightly to hide the tent-effect they're great at hiding public erections.

I'm not allowed anywhere near play grounds or schools in a maxi dress 🙁

I don't advise trying to smuggle frozen turkeys out of lidl as if you're a pregnant lady in them either. Frost biten chapstick is not a good look.

Moses 😆

Exhibitionism is the new black. I had an ex into public places, should have got her a maxi dress... shame they weren't "in" 10 years ago.

Heights an issue too at 5'2" I look like a toilet roll holder in a maxi dress.... I guess I could stand on a box at a party without anyone knowing but I'd be buggered when they announced the buffet was open... *shows how northern she is*

Puffball skirts were truly, truly, awful - you're right with that one.

Darcy - I have a friend* with a pair of red patent boots almost as mental as those ones - I drunkenly tried them for ten mins last NYE and nearly broke a leg - mad mad mad...

I quite like maxi dresses, but as i'm in the 5'2-3" club on here, i need heels to carry it off which isn't the same. Much prefer the LBD 🙂

Puffball skirts = wrong.

Whereas a LBD really doesn't seem to work if you're very tall - you see, swings and roundabouts...

I should think TSY would like his (?) number.

How about these then...in my mind, all the girls on STW have a pair of these lurking in the back of the wardrobe... 😯

Blimey those shoes are amazing DD, I actually nearly bought a pair like that when I started doing pole dancing, my instructor wore them and they look very pretty but they are a bit 'adult entertainment' ish. Very expensive too and i stopped doing pole so glad i didnt get them in the end. Cool though 😀

Edit: and I like maxi dresses 😳

Don't judge me

Yep, she was fine the very next day cg. To be fair, she doesn't let things get to her and gets on with things. I didn't remove her from the park when it happened - kept her there for ten minutes to calm her down and realise there was nothing to be scared of - seems to have worked. She's still mad to go there anytime we take her 😀

No, hairy you may not. I'd never inflict that on anyone, I wasn't very good. I got dizzy when upside down and had the grace of a dead walrus. Not a pretty sight, with or without stripper shoes 😕 🙄

The dead walrus look is a niche perversion too far... even for me. But I want to see it now, much like the time someone put the words 'eel' and 'enema' in a sentence next to each other.

What has been seen can't be unseen. 😐

well remembered emsz, although i can't help but notice the two recent threads commenting on the attractiveness of certain female presenters, one of which appears to have descended into comments about the presenters breasts and that hasnt been closed/removed and the posters haven't been banned from what i can see.

think the mods have relaxed? noticed a lot more swear filter avoidance recently too...

Very bitter, surfmat got me banned because he commented on my friends boobs in that video.... yet there's people posting links to heavily boobed videos on youtube, swear filter avoiding all over the shop and people who come on here just to pick holes in other peoples posts and arguing with them for no apparent reason other than they don't have a real life to be getting on with outside of office hours!

There's a weird sense of ownership over this forum with certain members, yet the only people who should have that sense are singletrackworld and the mods in my humble opinion.

I'd like it if there was a way of clicking on a little smiley face or sad face to rate people's posts so that when readers thought somebody's post was creating a negative vibe or image of the forum they could indicate it by clicking on the sad face. That way if someone got enough sad faces the mods could consider banning them with evidence that a multitude of other forum users/readers had felt negatively about that person's posts without needing to report them or get caught up in an online argument (which everyone with a brain cell know's are pointless).

I know that if I got banned because enough people had indicated they don't feel my contributions are positive then I'd reflect and either change my ways or move on, being banned because other forum users can't keep the blood in their brain instead of it all rushing to their penises is unfair.

Anyway, its a beautiful day and there's some good riding to be had this evening 🙂
