Undoubted skill etc. but nothing they cooked made me even remotely want to eat there. So fail.

it looked like a fine place, but give me a back street tapas bar somewhere anyday over some tiny meal on a plate effort for the price of your mortgage

I must admit I struggled with the goldfish dish and the candy floss.

Clare was my close second to Ash but I am coming round to the idea that at 22 she is an amazing talent- 22 and already that bloody good.

Is that how you describe anything you don't understand?

There are plenty of people on here who will happily spend 10x what "the average" person thinks is sensible on a bike. There are people on here who will not shop in "chain store" bike shops and believe that their LBS (or an LBS that is miles away from them) gives them amazing service and is worth a premium. Why should it be any different for food?

Why would you watch a programme looking for the greatest upcoming fine dining chef in the UK if you hate the entire concept?

Some of the things they were doing were truly outstanding.

If I could afford it and get a table I'd love to eat there, just for the experience.

I think they were most inpressed with the spiky haired lad, but the little cooking pixie is pure talent.

The pastry brother was great, proper nutty professor, and his sugar apricot was awesome.

steve-o seemed to be the only one that had any courage under fire.. he was the only one that impressed the Roca brothers..
The other two just had them scratching their heads and looking confused and embarrassed.. The poor fellas looked panic stricken as they struggled to find any sort of compliment....

the youngest brother was like a 3 star michelin chef would be in a dark and quirky french animated film..
excellent

The young lad certainly impressed them, although TBH they weren't as manic as any other Michelin chef I've seen on any other series.

I did think that the brothers were being polite for the main and yes were trying to find positives in each dish. Ash's main course was bordering on an empty plate IMO.

Then again, its a blip that they've gotten away with isn't it- they are still there.

it's a great final this year.. very impressive.. All three of them are mind blowing when they've got time to design a menu from scratch..

My wife tried to get on the website of the restaurant last night and couldn't. It seems as though a few hundred thousand other viewers had the same idea and no doubt Easyjet and Ryanair flights to Gerona will be busy for the next couple of months!
