Why am I not able to play videos in HD on YouTube on my MacBook Pro?

What happens when you try to select the HD option? Have you got the latest versions of everything? Should you have bought a PC?
Hi new Mac Book Pro user here.
Have you updated your software? or are you unable to simply click onto the
HD setting on youtube its self.
if so best make a Genius appointment at the Apple store.

Sorted it - me being a kno8. All the gear no idea for computers as well as mountain bikes.
