Anyone else out to see the Lunar Eclipse?

-11C in Fife, up at the standing stones behind my hoose.

Some dark clouds have just appeared to spoil the show.

Got a good view of it here in Balerno. Not easy to photograph though - this is the best I managed:

Cloud now spoiling the Balerno view too. Hoping it'll sink below them before it sets.

Was looking really good here near Huddersfield, until I got to work (in a valley) and now can't see a thing!

Been out to look for it, but too much cloud rolling in from the west on the Cumbrian Riviera. Pah.

It looked lovely and red before 8 this morning in Cumbria. Through the window I wasn't going out there if I didn't need to.

Moon obscured by houses this morning in Manchester.

In spite of me standing outside in a t-shirt.

Shame!

Bit of an action packed day today then, lunar eclipse, winter solstice and a full moon tonight, the druids will be going bananas 😆

Saw this on the bus this morning. Wondered WTF was up as it was a full moon last night.

It was stunning this morning. I was riding to work along the canal towpath and wondered what was up cos I'd seen it full last night. Eventually I stopped, turned off the headtorch and just sat there for a minute looking at it until I started to get cold. Could see the pink edge of it - kind of a combination of Richpip's picture with the pinky bit from the Dundee shot as well.

Beautiful.

Looked fab in very clear skies while I was driving to Newcastle. Didn't quite have the full eclipse or the red colour but still good.

I couldn't see it due to cloud cover, I blame the government for that, as well as all the snow.
