Anyone else out to see the Lunar Eclipse?
-11C in Fife, up at the standing stones behind my hoose.
Some dark clouds have just appeared to spoil the show.
Had a mooch out the window, but far too ****in cloudy to see anything as predicted 🙁
I was out at 06.35 but overcast here unfortunately.
Peaks at 7.40 apparently
about to get up and have a peek outside...
Its doing that orange thing now. Its cleared up again.
Cloud now spoiling the Balerno view too. Hoping it'll sink below them before it sets.
cloudy as hell in bournemouth...
Was looking really good here near Huddersfield, until I got to work (in a valley) and now can't see a thing!
well, that was a waste of time.
Been out to look for it, but too much cloud rolling in from the west on the Cumbrian Riviera. Pah.

It looked lovely and red before 8 this morning in Cumbria. Through the window I wasn't going out there if I didn't need to.
Moon obscured by houses this morning in Manchester.
In spite of me standing outside in a t-shirt.
Shame!
What lunar eclipse? Didn't know about it until I read this thread 🙁
Bit of an action packed day today then, lunar eclipse, winter solstice and a full moon tonight, the druids will be going bananas 😆
Bananas?
Where????

Saw this on the bus this morning. Wondered WTF was up as it was a full moon last night.
It was stunning this morning. I was riding to work along the canal towpath and wondered what was up cos I'd seen it full last night. Eventually I stopped, turned off the headtorch and just sat there for a minute looking at it until I started to get cold. Could see the pink edge of it - kind of a combination of Richpip's picture with the pinky bit from the Dundee shot as well.
Beautiful.
Saw it from the train on the way into Newcastle. Excellent photos above...
Me and MrMorris got up early, made bacon sarnies and coffee and drove to a hig spot in Penrith. It was a beatiful morning, bit chilly at -13 but hey ho!!
totally clear view of eclipse, and amazing sunset behind over the Pennines too - result!
Looked fab in very clear skies while I was driving to Newcastle. Didn't quite have the full eclipse or the red colour but still good.
I couldn't see it due to cloud cover, I blame the government for that, as well as all the snow.
