obviously I'm going to get it checked out but just wondered if anyone has had a similar issue, I've got a screw in the scaphoid, it recovered well, been cycling no problem just recently I've noticed a lump under the scar, it's a bit tender, just had rigid forks fitted. Scar tissue or cyst maybe?
Good possibility of either, i think.
I had a cyst form in a scar, where it never really healed properly inside. I had it removed no problem, local anasthetic minor operation. Doc' said it's fairly common, but so is extra scar tissue.
When you get it checked let them know it's tender and it's bothering you and there'll be more chance of them doing something, otherwise sometimes they can take a view that it's not a problem and leave it.
