Sorry for the camera thread but saw that a few people had GF1s in here. I'm pretty sure that its the right camera for stills but was wondering how well it took videos.

It takes HD Video and has the advantage over cheapo VidCams that you can use wide aperture lenses, having said that to get the best out of it there's more of a learning curve than with a VidCam.
Don't know about the camcorder, but i'm very happy with the video on my GF1. Good enough for me to retire my canon dv camcorder and don't need to carry two bits of kit around. I would say though that the 14-45 lens is better than the 20mm for video. I have both and the image stabilization on the 14-45 makes a noticeable difference.
