anyone taken them apart? It's only a week old and it looks like a toothed belt had popped off and the sliding feeder no longer moves. They say it's not user fixable, I'm assuming because there's a massive spring in there all coiled up ready to pounce!

Of course I can return it, it just a right royal PITA to do so, I'd rather just fix it.

I would return it - try to fix it and you really will be screwed.

Take it back, it has anti-tamper torx fittings on the outside (well mine does) and as you have assumed, a f'off big spring inside!

I used to make those on the night shift! Ah them were the days...

Sage-like advice above; tampering with one could take your face off ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks all. I had called them and they were helpful and nice. They said send it back, I was just hoping not to.

Sounds like I'm going to get in a pickle one way or another trying to fix it. Returns dept, here I come.
