Good news though - he has got them playing some lovely football, looks like they're enjoying themselves and while Europa league is not great shakes (if it happens), it's not bad considering where they were under Roy. They've properly torn teams to shreds since Kenny's been in (after an early run of shaky lucky results).

Speaking of Roy, I'm glad things have gone well for him at West Brom. It just didn't click for him at Liverpool but I didn't grow to dislike him - it was right for him to go but I think most Liverpool fans would wish him well.

I hope it is not just a flash in the pan for him but fear he needs money to properly rebuild and compete with the johhny come latelys like Chelsea and Man City who will spend massively again [ as i assume man u will]

Since he took over in January, only one team (Chelsea) have collected more points (35 to 33). He's taken Liverpool from 12th to 5th, with a goal aggregate of -4 to +18. Beaten 3 of the top 4 teams, convincingly, and they've scored 13 goals in the last 3 games. Everything about the team has improved; individual performance, playing style, morale, hunger, confidence and belief.

Early days of course, but all very positive and happy. TBH Woy was doomed from the start, but there was so much turmoil at the club first half of the season, that anyone would've struggled tbh. Crying shame that Kenny weren't in charge from the start, mind, because I just don't believe the team would've gone so far downhill with him at the helm.

He's come and salvaged something from an otherwise disastrous season. Here's to the future! Hail King Kenny!

I agree with the sentiments about Woy doing well. All my anger was levelled towards old owners and I mostly felt sorry for him. Looks like its worked out well for both parties!

Great great news for the club and well deserved. the club needed some stability after the nonsense over the last year. Also the contract for Steve Clarke is a massive boost. Already looking forward to next season.

Interested to see what signings we make during the summer. Ashley young and Charlie Adam reportedly on their way.

He's a mediocre manager at a mediocre club. He's won nowt of any real note during his career.

He blamed the players, club financial turmoil, anything but himself. He then accused the fayns of not giving enough support (cos they were calling for him to quit). Those same fayns helping to pay his not inconsiderable wages.

Showed he is nowhere near possessing the right character to manage one of the World's greatest clubs.

Good luck to him in his future in Mediocrity. It's where he belongs.

Just as important is Steve Clarke getting a permanent contract.

The team is very good under Kenny, and were poor under Roy. Given it's the same players, that tells us a) Kenny can still manage a team, and b) the players are shithouses. Shithouses will never win anything, although they can play when the pressure is off, and when it suits them. So well done Kenny I guess.
