I’m after some waterproof overtrousers to keep my legs dry on wet school runs/walks to work.

Normally take a 35 or 36” inseam trouser.

Don’t need anything fancy, do need it to get all the way to the bottom of my legs - where should I look?

Keela Lightening overtrousers here.  they are plenty long enough for my 34'' inside leg.

and if they were not, i would just add their gaiters which i also own.

If I’m in the hills I’m happy with adding gaiters, just CBA for the school run.

Berghaus do some long leg over trousers, but they are not that long. However if you pair them with your choice of muck boot you stay dry.

usually wear 36 inseams trousers - got a pair of second hand paramo velez trousers that are fab for filthy weather either as overtrousers or quite comfy to wear on on their own. Also got a pair of rapha technical trousers off ebay that work well with wash-in waterproofing as a more casual and less insulating shower-proof trousers for summer rain and are a good length for us fully grown types.

Got a pair of Surface aquastretch trousers to sell that are a good light weight showerproof / rain-shedding trouser as well and nice and long. Again, like the Rapha's not 'waterproof' but fine to wear in wet weather.

I do wear wellies when it’s proper filth out but many days I’m just getting wet legs rather than soaked so don’t want them.

I’ve tried on a pair of the Berghaus “long” (34”, ha) and they’re a bit short, but maybe I need to accept that 🙁

Am after proper waterproof rather than ok to wear, when I have school run then into work I’m walking 50-60 minutes and want to get to work with dry trousers.

My Endura soft shell trousers are really long. I’m 6 foot 4 and they are touching the tops of my bare feet

so maybe look at their water proof trousers

Berghaus paclite in long leg length plus croc rain wellies.

My standard wet day kit, job jobbed. The wellies are all day comfy for walking and mincing about. The paclite have lasted really well and have full length side zips. The cut is good, very happy to wear them all day as trousers with a thermal legging underneath

I use some Altura ones that are easily long enough (36") and flair a bit at the bottom to sit over the top of a boot - but can be velcroed tight. Look to be discontinued,  but Altura worth a punt. https://startfitness.co.uk/products/altura-nightvision-mens-cycling-over-trousers-black?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAnL-sBhBnEiwAJRGigrxGxSb0J4FwTqDg_XzSw0bj4s9KlvbbEbX3igdmnaSWr9lf364EjhoCHcMQAvD_BwE

RAF goretex trousers.

They come with loads of different measurements inseam, waist and other measurements depending on where you get it from.

Dutch surplus may be worth a look. Always find their stuff fits tall folk better!

Just posting back to say @tall_martin’s tip was spot on. Pair of RAF surplus in 90/94/110 size, spot on fit down to the tops of my shoes. For reference I’m normally a 34 or 35 waist and 35-37” leg depending on brand.

How about some of these?

I take 36" jeans and their 36" waterproof trousers are very long
