My first impressions are really good. Each level is a ~3 minute downhill trail, beautifully designed and littered with shortcuts and alternate paths. The controls are very simple, the game takes care of jumping and landing, all you have to do is get the speed and direction right (harder than it sounds). The game rewards experimentation, and slowly picking your way down a boulder-strewn slope can be as fun as perfecting a shortcut jump over a canyon.
I've only played a couple of levels so far but it's well worth checking out, it's included with Xbox/PC game pass if you have it.
I saw that the other day, was wondering what it was like. I wasn't a fan of Descenders either, thankfully I did a free trial rather than buying it.
