Is there a web site that gives all the cycle routes in London, need to get from St Pancras down to Clapham Junction, can find my way down to the embankment and over Chelsea Bridge through Batersea Park and just about there, anyone got a better route?
sustrans.org.uk ?
Londoners can you help?
They can, but they never effing do.
allthepies that is great many thanks

pah.
I'd take your route, but stay by the river a bit longer and cross at Battersea Bridge.
need to get from St Pancras down to Clapham Junction, can find my way down to the embankment and over Chelsea Bridge through Batersea Park and just about there,
My tip for that would be as follows;
From St P, head East towards King's Cross, then follow the A201 Southwards. Roll down the hill as far as Blackfriars Bridge, perhaps stopping to admire St Pauls on your left.
Cross the bridge, then head almost immediately right on the South Bank, down a nice quiet road which takes you all the way to the London Eye.
Head straight on behind County Hall then cross the road on the S end of Westminster Bridge. Take a left on the far side, it's a shared bike/pedestrian path.
At next set of lights, go right and follow the road as far as Lambeth Bridge (Admiring the views of Parliament behind you on the right)
Cross Lambeth Bridge, but then go straight over next roundabout, and turn left at Burberry's HQ. Follow this road along to Vauxhall Bridge Road. Go across VBR heading right, then take the first left.
Follow Lupus Street through Pimlico (Lovely Italian deli on your right about half way down) to the river. Ride alongside the river until you reach your required bridge.
Best pubs en route;
Cask (Tachbrook St, Pimlico, just off the Lupus St bit)
The Blackfriar, by the bridge. Awesome interior, average ale.
Will think of more and post later.
HTH.
You can also use the journey planner on the tfl site, in advanced search option box just check cycle.

Pah, the Constitution is far superior, and well worth the slight detour! 🙂
The Con? Crikey, you really haven't tried to look for a good pub in the area, have you? The Con's an average town pub at best.
Cask or the Marquis is where it's at in Pimlico these days. Mine's a pint of Sam Brooks in the Marquis, thanks.
Not to get into a willy-waving contest (I'll lose, but it's fun to get the old chap out...), but the Marquis is a little vile - smells like a public lav, with a sticky floor to match. Nice in summer, but that's mainly because you don't have to sit inside!
I'd agree that the Constitution is less attractive than it used to be, but still not a bad place to watch rugby or football.
The Con no longer shows rugby. 🙁
Marquis was revamped heavily recently, have you been in since then?
Are you.....local?
Ah, shows how long ago I last went to either... I *was* local, now living about 3000 miles away. :s
