Got a day trip to London planned at the weekend, got the following planned:-

Condor cycles/Cycle surgery holborn/Science museum - F1 display/HOST gallery - photo8 display/design museum

Is there anything else I might like with a photography/design/engineering/cycling theme?

Cheers.

National Portrait Gallery usually has a photographic exhibition. Trundle up the East End and see RudeBoy for the ultimate London Experience? 🙂

Imperial War Museum? Very engineering based - lots of tanks and planes and bombs and stuff!

How about Brixton Cycles with the skate park directly next to it with some ridiculously talented street riders doing their thing between the skaters.

If you look around the whole of the Science Museum that can easily take up most of a day.
And seeing as you're there you might as well nip next door to the Natural History Museum, if only to see the Diplodocus skeleton in the main hall.

The Royal Observatory in Greenwich!
There's a planetarium there now and quite a bit of mindboggling stuff about the enormity of space (even with a calculator i couldn't get my head round it)

Is there anything under the Westway worth looking at, did they ever replace the Slam City half pipe?

There was an amazing cycle shop in a basement near Fouberts Place anyone know what it was called?

Cheers,

What camera shops are worth visiting - Anyone been to Greys of westminster (Nikon specialist), I need a few tripod accessories, is it a case of trawling up tottenham court road?

Blaggers, Greys is a funny old spot, but worth a look if you like Nikon! Check to see if they're open, though.

(Some great places to eat/drink around that part of the world, try the Chorizo Tortilla at Ivanos on Tachbrook St....)

I'd second MF - IWM is awesome, particularly Holocaust stuff, frightening and humbling.

I like the Design Museum near Tower Bridge too.
