Looking at a Loewe Xelos 51439T80 40" LED currently reduced to £499. But I can't find many reviews.

Primarily based on the fact that our 10yo 32" Leowe is still going strong.

Or should I revert to the default Samsung?

Just picked up the (on offer) Samsung 39" smart from currys, seems a hell of a lot of telly for the money, did look at a loewe when best buy went under but there'd have been no way of taking it back etc so didn't bother. Basically Panasonic rebranded I think with a few tweaks.

They seem insanely expensive for panels I suspect (but don't know for sure) that they don't manufacture. I see no reason not to go with Panasonic, but as TV's go I'm a bit of a fanboi for them!

Lowe are just basically, as stated previous, rebranded panasonics. I reckon you could get more bang for your buck with other makes. 🙂
