When you're in the reply box, click to "Text" then back to "Visual" and the toolbar should appear.
Ah, but they've now fixed the Visual/Text bar fault in the posting box. Which probably broke the 'Like' button.

How do you reply to a post with a quote? I see other people do it, but I’ve never been able to figure out how that works.

I try to show some tolerance for the perpetual poor performance and functionality on here, but jeez it's hard when it never seems to get any better. It would be easier to swallow it if there was some realistic end game, some proper fix on the horizon instead of the constant sticking plasters between one bad episode and the next.

Hmm, I see. It applies the 'quote' box whilst the inverted commas are greyed out, and the text is sort of middle justified. OK for the moment...
Currently getting white text on white background on threads and bits of the menu on mobile. Not sure it's a deliberate design decision.
