Hopefully a quick question and answer: How do I stop Lightroom opening up everytime I connect anything to my PC (such as a USB stick, memory card or external harddrive)? I can't find a setting anywhere to switch this off and it's driving me bonkers 👿

Edit -> Preferences -> Import -> Uncheck "Show Import dialogue when memory card detected".
If that's still not working and if you're on windows the LR install may also have told windows to start LR when it detects a memory card.
