How do I set it up so that each line of text requires a mouse click/key hit to appear? Currently the whole page appears as one 🙁

Click the "Slide show" menu, then "Custom animation". Then select some of the text, and click the + symbol for "Add effect".
Then you can set an animation for each time you click.
