I have had one for a few weeks and quite like it. It is GPS enabled but i cannot find a suitable GPS programme to run with it.

Navio 3.14 looks spot on but i am unsure if it is compatible and not willing to take the risk of paying (even tho there is a 30 day money back guarantee)
Does anyone know of any GPS products that will work with this phone other than Oranga maps/wise pilot?
I want it to take the place of my garmin 205 really but if it ha d amap on that would be cool!
please help???

Does the phone run Microsoft Windows mobile?
As it says 'Compatable with your phone' why not buy it.
because it says that to install it you require active sync, this does not recognise my phone.

Yes - but it seems that some of the functionality is "hidden"
Okay,
If it does run Windows Mobile then there are loads of GPS apps.
If you want to see if it will run a GPS app and not have to pay any money, download this application. It is free and does GPS stuff. Here is the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=424423
I would guess if this runs then most any Windows Mobile GPS app will work.

if i copy the cab file over to the phone and click on it i get "unsupported file type message"
any ideas?
heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp
Hi,
Running the cab on the phone should install it automatically. It looks like your phone does not have that functionality.
Regards
as it runs windows mobile 6 this functionality should be there - maybe hidden?
It could be. I would contact LG direct and ask them.
I am going to try Velox after a recomendation
