An old friend has been diagnosed with Leukimia, I dont know which kind or any of the details.
What are his chances?
Thanks ironicaly this is the type of question TJ would be good on.

My housemate had it as a kid, took ages to get diagnosed (almost too late IIRC) but he obviously survived.

Is it chronic or acute, lymphoid or myeloid, what is his age etc, etc.
In kids Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia has a high remission/survival rate, Acute Myeloblastic less so.
A bit more detail is needed, PF.
