@neilforrow I'll give you £200 plus I'll pay the P&P as long as you don't use Hermes!

That's a great price for the ISS, I'd buy it if I didn't already have it.

<buys ISS>. It'll go nicely beside my Red Dwarf and DS9

Got Saturn V, Eagle / LEM, and Shuttle (latter waiting for dark, cold, rainy day) but the ISS just doesn’t appeal.

Mini Scuttler built this the other day (he’s a Minecraft fan) and it’s a delightful model. It has an exploding lever.

It's quite a nice little build the ISS. I say little, once it's finished it's quite big. I have the others I just need the shuttle to finish the space collection off. I'm also going to dig out the MOC instructions I found for the Ulysses probe as well, not the free gift one because it was a bit crap.

I thought the same just going off reviews/images, but then I actually saw it in a Lego shop and thought it was awesome!

@Cougar, both free downloads from Rebrickable though I got them as Chinese kits

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003309098577.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.54cb4c4dEUva6W
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002901364224.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.54cb4c4dEUva6W

Apparently some of the bricks for DS9 are pretty unobtainable but I think it's just colour choice. Maybe I'll add this tiny Babylon 5 since the 6735 piece one is a bit beyond me

some cracking deals @ Argos right now! This is in my top 3 all-time sets... what's not to like... it's MASSIVE, totally different from the usual car/truck/building etc, incredibly engineered (it's fully posable and has loads of technic bits to make it very sturdy, including gearing in the leg joints to introduce enough friction to counteract it's huge weight - really clever), the minifigs are great (SLJ!) and behind the gate (which has a cool opening mechanism that I'll motorise at some point) there are loads of fun little dioramas from the (original) film.

I am trying to convince myself that i really really don't need the d11.
The only issue i will have if i get it, is that i will use it in the garden

I watched a few video reviews of that D11 2-3 weeks ago and the consensus was that it's not particularly good, especially given the price. It certainly doesn't do it for me.

Like others have said, plenty of bargains to be had, eg the Sian and Chiron are £250, the Defender is £110 for starters. However, I've been hoarding some sizeable builds throughout the year, awaiting a rainy day or two and really don't need anymore. Then again... you can never have too much Lego.

Picked up the ISS yesterday and built it. It’s a nice build actually - and worth the full price IMHO. I should have picked it up earlier.

Just ordered two of the Hedwig owls from Argos, as they have a very nice selection of pieces.

On the subject of shelves, I'm just building a load in my new place and the spare bedroom is being a nerd cave- rc cars, 3d printer, games stuff, it's all coming together lovely and all safely behind a closed door so I can hide it from normal people.

Lego? No, that's not nerd stuff, that's going in the living room.

I may have posted this before, but shortly after the orange 911 was released my Wife spotted a used set on Gumtree which claimed to be complete with instructions (sans box) for either £40 or £60. At the time I had 2 or 3 large sets unbuilt and stupidly thought it extravagant to buy yet another one 🙁

What I really want to do is build the kit out of purple bricks so I can have one which looks like the ultra violet version:

I was congratulating myself the other day on not buying that new T2. As I didn't think it was different enough from the one I already have.

Thanks to this thread I just bought the Defender!

Shame the d11 isn't that good. Would be great for driving around the house and use it to clear up all the lego that ends up on the carpet

It can push everything into a pile, for the liebherr to pick up, and put into the Volvo tipper truck.

- is how I’m gonna sell it to MrsTH

Finished my Star Wars Solo train, the elevated track took a few attempts, a lot of swear words and two explosive failures before I got the design right. Background for the pictures could be better but I don't dare pick it up now.

As I said not exactly displayed in the best location but it's far from mobile now it's assembled. This one took 3 years on and off. Built the train part quite a while ago and built the track supports over the space of 6 months, lot of trial and error getting them strong enough to take the train weight.

Titanic is beautiful, I was at Legoland Windsor a couple of weeks back and it's great to see all the sets including all the niche stuff in one place. I kept my hands rooted in my pockets though.

Stuff like this
