I’ve decided to take the plunge and go from my luddite spec Nokia C2 PAYG mobile to a cheap as chips Samsung Galaxy Ace form Tesco on a £12.50 2 year monthly deal.
I phoned up Orange to get my PAC number and got transferred to the “Retention Team”. 15 minutes later and I’m still with Orange on a better deal than Tesco with a better phone for £8 a month. Get in!
At least you'll be spared two years of Orange dealers phoning you trying to sell you a phone upgrade, which is what happened to me when I went from Orange to O2. Got really pissed at bloody cold-callers phoning me up all the time. 😡
