Have a look for the Ski/Snowboard thread if you can....Plenty of advice/opinion/banter and a refreshing lack of arguments too...

Hold on a mo...

There you go. Worth a hunt, as there's loads of great tips and opinion on loads of resorts in there, as well as a lot of folk wanting to share opinions and help out!

Skiworld + IgLU /Ifyouski .
Sometimes 12 - 10 days before departure is the best time .
The monday morning staff come in and check the availability then discount whats left , as availabilty drops they stick the prices back up.
Lastminute.com worth a look if you can face their god awful website
Alpine Answers have some stuff, but check on flights with them

This year doesn't seem as good as previous years for late deals, but then we are headed for the dreaded middle of February. March deals should be out pretty soon if my guessing is right. April has been spoiled by Easter pushing up prices 🙁

Sometimes the odd good deal on travelzoo.

Igluski is pretty easy to use (they fixed it at long last) and scrapes deals from most of the big companies.

Be careful with igluski though, I was told over the phone that deals were gone that the website still showed as available a week or more later.

Crystal ++

They seemed to have a lot of good package bargains in Austria last time I looked.

Check out their Wipeout sale: http://www.crystalski.co.uk/wipeout/

Example: 7 nights B&B in Kaprun, with London flights and transfers: £345

Ours to St Johann was £350 but with half board in a hotel. 😀

There were vacant rooms in our Le Ski chalet in La Tania two weeks ago. I know they are flogging holidays cheap on their website (wish Mrs Gti hadn't looked actually.)

We have used Crystal for the last 5 and have booked one of their deals to fly out on Sunday to Sestriere.
Always managed to get 2 boards in one bag, but they have lowered the allowance to 15 kg. Had to use the girls lighter bag but only just under the limit.
