On the look out for hostels or similar accom for <£20 a night next weekend Thurs/Fri/Sat . Vaguely Ambleside area would be better, give me close access to grizedale/iron keld rides, but also thinking about riding whinlatter.
Single person so camping pods are probably a bit expensive. Pure camping could be a touch cold for me.
Bike storage maybe? Suppose I could leave bike in car though.

Ambleside youth hostel is pretty big and located right on the lake, not far to the ferry from there.
YHA Grasmere - the manager Ian is a biker and will look after you. Lovely breakfast too

The Ambleside YHA is closed till May 2013 for refurbishment.
