Ok I'm not that out of touch with music I'm 34 with a four year old girl but not old and bitter yet. I love hip hop, beastie boys Q tip etc and am passionate about the pixies. Now, lady gaga is on tv doing a live show, what is it that she's got that the yoof are loving so much? Nothing very different from your pink or gwen steffanis or indeed madonnas ? She's a talented girl for sure but what is the obsession? Not why! But what? How does one artist grasp so much attention and another similar artist not? Curious that's all.......

I love Lady GaGa she's a latter day Madonna. Catchy tunes interesting lyrics, I ride with her a lot.
I like Lady Gaga but I can't say I like Lady Gaga anymore because derekrides says he likes Lady Gaga and I don't want to be associating myself with his opinions.
She gave her fans a name and an identity. It's a crap name and identity but it is one nevertheless. Come and be in Lady Gaga's gang.
I haven't heard her perform any good music; what else does she do?
