Number one team at one day? Pah!

What chance of a series white wash here? OK, so it's one day, not the real game, but let's revel in it for a while...!

😉

🙂

It's been a long day! Still (sort of!) working. Cricket has been a relief.

By the way, is it OK to take critical business decisions after a large bottle of Leffe Blonde and a rather lovely Chimay Bleu?

The biggest hurdle in achieving a series whitewash and no1 status is not the Aussies but the current summer which looks likely to wipeout the next game at least.
Good stuff though, didn't even appear to have to try to beat the no1 team today.
PS. you missed out Rolf Harris, or have we adopted him as one of our own?

looks like Norwich City though

anyway, England are so rarely any good at anything, that when they are, we have to enjoy it. Let's face it, Italy did us a favour last Sunday. Can you imagine how many goals Spain would have scored against England tonight? 😯

Is Bell one of the most pleasing batsmen to watch from any era?

Possibly yes...glad he's started scoring regular though, I was sick of seeing him "play well for his 30 odd"....

Not sure. Certainly on good form right now, but he's no Sobers, Richards or Gower, IMHO.

Mmm, not sure I agree, his straight driving and cutting are imperious. Never saw Sobers, Richards in full flow was frightening, but not as classical as Bell, a real childhood hero though. Gower was left handed and they always look more stylish so he doesn't count!

It's happening again. 🙂

120-7 off 30 overs in a 32 over game....

It would have been 5-0 if it wasn't for the rain! Whodathunkit, eh? Australia saved by the rain!

Wooooo!
