it seems I have just entered this off road marathon run 😯 Anyone else doing it?
So 6 months to go from 0 running miles to 26, I might be being a bit optimistic!

If the route is along the pathway that goes around the lake, as I believe it does, it should be far more interesting than the urban wastelands that most marathons favour.
If the training doesn't go as planned it's a nice walk anyway
