Standing at the self checkout (Sainsbury's - not just admiring myself again) about to put my card in and notice the American Express card left by the previous customer. I didn't think anything other than it would be terrible if it had been me that lost my card and handed it in straight away.
As soon as had done so I started imagining what I might have been able to do with some else's card. Bad thoughts - banish them bad person!
Later, biking across town, I found one of those cheap rear lights lying in the road. It had batteries and it worked. Put in my pocket. Thankyouverymuch.
So the world is in balance. Unless the shifty looking lad I gave the card to in Sainsburys has just bought a Maserati.
Karma is a made up thing, like religion, but well done anyway
You know, I thought this thread was just fading away and I didn't want to be ignored so I was about to start an argument just to keep it going but you might've just beaten me to it.
Serendipity?
I kid I went to school with set fire to a live sheep, he later got rundown and killed by a container lorry.
was the lorry driven by a sheep in mourning? or was it the afternoon...
nah it was carrying a load of vinegar and green herbs.

It wasn't karma but a French conspiracy!
What goes around comes around.
swings and roundabouts
thats not really right now is it iDave, swings go up & down / back & forth.
Oh and the french carousel defense can't help you this time!
vinegar and green herbs
Isn't that the STW equivalent of saying 'the scottish play'.
I lost a tenner out of my pocket in a pub once but I eventually got it back - was just lying there in the street. It was in two instalments over a couple of years mind.
Anyway, people who believe in Karma deserve to have their naivety highlighted.
