Guys I need your help
I am trying to make a 5 minute mp3 compilation for a video that i want to put on line but can anyone recommend a piece of software that will let me split and join mp3's to make one single track?
thanks in advance
on PC, mp3 surgeon will do the job nicely. on a mac, I seem to recall doing this sort of thing in iMovie straight off. So I'd figure you could do it directly in any movie editing software without needing to prejoin it.
I came across this problem recently. The only way I could achieve this was to convert the MP3 to .wav and then edit in Nero Wave editor. Save as a new .wav and then convert back to MP3.
Long winded you may think, but I got the result I desired.

Import the mp3s, sex up to suit then export as mp3s.

Very easy to do on iMove.
If you're putting it on a video, can't you just use the video software? Even Microsoft Movie Maker (free with Windows) will let you put 2 tracks on back-to-back, tweak the overlap, etc.
