Don’t you produce your own first thing in the morning, like most other folks ? 😀

After Wales' effort at shit weather today we need as many heat sources to dry our boots and kit as possible. It made me whince when I saw the price. Bought some "Welsh" coal as well but that seemed good value.

I’ve just chopped down and burnt the majority of a 15m Birch. Could’ve paid me £5 and took what you wanted

It can be worse
Recently due to transportation issues (just me and my bike) we had no coal and I had to buy coal from a supermarket.
It was so wet and low grade it put the fire out

That's about the going rate for black market Madagascar rose wood.

Bit of a waste to burn it though, have you considered building an acoustic guitar?

There's loads of dog logs hanging in trees for free.
They're even pre bagged so you can carry them home.

I earned some today. My mom got a free turkey from her old employer and normally gives us half. My dad was a butcher for 40+ years so he always did the butchering. He died in August so it was down to me, the most squeamish unmanliest man on earth.

Did it though, cut the legs off, breasts off, even snapped the things back so my mom could get it in the bin.

I am man, hear me roar!

I recently made one out of Javanese Camphor wood.
