My iTunes hangs - and my whole PC for that matter - on certain songs that have big gaps in them. For example 3 minutes into one song there is a gap of several minutes before it starts again (secret track and all that). This gap hangs my whole PC until the music starts again.
Any ideas?

tried that, but now iTunes won't even start 😐
{EDIT} - tell a lie - it's asking me to set it all up again!
Yay. Gold star to DezB. Fixed!!
I cancelled the set-up Wizard and it created a new pref file. Job done 😀
