My itunes is taking 3-5 minutes to start up unless I'm offline in which case it starts straight away. I'm on the latest version and have tried reloading it but no change - it used to be fine and I'm not sure what has changed. I'm assuming it is trying to do something with the itunes store or apple is colecting some usage data but I can't stop it :o(
Any ideas?
Thanks,
foggy

I thought that but turning it off makes no difference. Same with automatic updates etc. Very frustrating!

How big is your library? This has the biggest effect on start up times for me.
