£75 here. Return is about 2.3% since July when we opened them, so doing ok but still losing money in real terms.

Absolutely cock all. Brings my % equivalent return to 2.4%. not terrible but readily bettered now by an instant access account.

Nothing for me again. That’s the second month in and zero return. I knew it was a short term holding account for me, but I was hoping for some kind of return…

For some reason, I really thought I was going to get a significant win this month. I got a whopping £25.

'Just' £125 at Chez Lawman this month. It's weird how your expectations change when the payout (ie interest) rate has risen, and £125 seems like a bit of a letdown if hoping for more.

I got £25, which is only the 2nd £25 in 18 months on £12k. I’ve pulled half now to put elsewhere, ironically reducing my odds of a win further but at least guaranteeing a return on some of it.

Mrs Dubs & I both got £125 this month, I think that brings us back up to "just about in line" with the prize rate, haven't done the sums recently though.

£100 this month. Had a couple of no wins the past 6 months but take the (lack of) tax into account and I'm at 2.84%.

We've had x4 £25 wins in the last year on 10k.

Does anyone really look at them as investments? I look at them as a safe place to keep some money - but - with a chance (slim!) to win a large chunk of cash I'd never be able to earn. Like the Lottery but without losing my stake.

https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2022/12/nsi-premium-bond-rate/

going up to 3% for the next draw, although a lot of that is the bigger prizes, as the number of £5k plus prizes have tripled.
(rise in 50 and 100 prizes but a reduction in £25)

I'll be happy with £25.
Skimming through the high value winners I haven't won anything big.

There's a couple of decent prizes in London with the same value of Bonds as me.

I'm trying not to get too excited.

Nothing for me this month but just had an email from the local gastropub saying I'd won the £50 monthly voucher for being on their mailing list. I was hoping to win the autotader Tesla but that will have to do.

New to this... How can they release the list of winners with details of area, holding purchase date etc, but when I log in to 'my dashboard' it says the next draw date is tomorrow (February 2nd)? What am I missing?

Nothing this month, but did have £150 last month, so not too bad.

Noted I had a message after encouraging me too leave the money in there, making me think folks are cashing bonds in.

£150 for me, made up of several 25s & 50s, and £225 for the other half, of which there were a couple of £100 wins in there. I'll take that in the cold and dark of early Feb.

Nothing... YET AGAIN!

Have reduced my holding from £30k to £5k though (bought the GF a car and myself a new road bike), but still...

Even my stepson won £25 on his £100 bond holding that his grandparents bought him when he was born!

What's the deal with these?

Presumably if you invest £1, it makes no interest but you might win 1p now and then?

Doesn't seem like a great investment strategy, low risk, ok but very low/zero return?

If you want a guaranteed return put the money into a savings account, Premium Bonds are like the Lottery, but you still have access to your money. Obviously the more you have invested increases the likelihood of a return - I had a holding of 2 grand for 2 years and didn't get a bean, increased it to 25 and have had £400 since July.

Bear in mind that any bonds bought won't enter the draw for a month, so any bought in February won't be entered until April.

I always live in hope.....
