I've just had an absolutely bloody mahooooooosive sausage, bacon and egg barm*

*BUUUUURP*

Lovely it was too. I could do with a doze now.

What we on then folks? And its a FFF thread! So don't be coming on here with your couscous, goats cheese, lentils, Ryvita's and salads. Fatties contributions only please.....

* other weird regional colloquiums for a round bread-based object are available, but it is a barm

Just had a bacon, sausage, egg and mushroom 1/2 baguette from Kens burger van on the A38 just south of Gloucester. Don't let the 1/2 baguette fool you, the full length baguette is at least 3ft long. 6 rashers of bacon, 4 sausages, 3 fried eggs and a pint glass full of mushrooms for £3.50. Seriously its proper Man V Food territory.

I think your keyboard's broken mate. The only place that ends up together is your colon.

Ton - I don't doubt for one second that that's exactly what you've had for breakfast 😀

Just back from the butchers. Hog Roast Giant Barm with Apple sauce. The bonus however, was he threw on the last of the hot sliced turkey breast and a splodge of stuffing too for free.

The meat layer was nearly an inch thick with stuffing at the top and apple sauce at the bottom. Proper butter on the barm too, which had melted and congealed into the bread.

No work will be done this afternoon.

just made myself 2 co-op brown rolls with thick slices of baked ham, blacksticks blue cheese, and beef tomato in each one.
One had lashings of Mr Vikkis XXX chili jam in, the other a nose burning dolop of Colman's English.
Now I'm waiting for my mate to pick me up to go session Grizedale's black run and some bridleways on my new bike.

I too have pitted myself against the 'baguette of doom' in that premier culinary establishment. Generally the only bloke in a suit and definitely the only one adorned with a full length towel to ensure the liquid-y bits of the offering don't end up all over said suit.

Well I ate half my sandwiches and some chocolate digestives before 11am. I need to scoff the rest and a bag of crisps pretty sharpish now to make sure there is room for the two large curries I have waiting when I get home.

Alex, Kens van is turning legendary around Glawwsster. He always gives me a free mug of coffee while I wait and a free big bottle of full fat coke when the order goes over a tenner. I've yet to try the 'Cheesy Pig' that he has on his menu though 😯
