raining!

There's been the occasional shower soaking nearby villages but in the last six weeks or so we've had nothing. Finally began raining about half an hour ago. Fairly heavy too. Let's hope there's no flash runoff.

No rain for 8 weeks here in Hollandland, none forecast for next week and a half.

The trees are looking rather distressed, some are losing leaves.

Do you think there is going to be Puddles and Mud on the trails tomorrow in the Peak District, or will it still be Okay because it's been dry for so long ?

We had 20 mins of precious rain yesterday, that was it... cooler today though, I'm in long trousers for the first time in a month I think..

I didn't think I cared them much, but at this point my lawn is mostly dust, and well, last I heard Cwmcarn was still on fire so a bit of rain would be lovely.
