MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
I have a 16gb SD card which I used for putting a bootable image of Debian on it for a Raspberry Pi.
I wanted to use it for general use and it will not let me access the majority of it. The only partition I can see in Windows is 74mb and if I use Computer Management in Windows 7, I can see the remainder of the card as unallocated space. It will not let me allocate it or format it.
What can I do?
the image contains fixed size partitions (which assume a 2Gb card iirc), so you need to resize them. it's a bit of manual effort, but the instructions are here (video too, but I've not watched that)

- yup stick it in a linux machine - Windows cant see/read the ext / linux partitions
/ CD boot disc and breath a sigh of relief.
'Come to think of it there is a bit of freeware that you can use in windows < off for a google>
I've used this one in the past - easeus PM
Thanks for your help gents.
Stuey - That is a great bit of freeware, very handy. All sorted now.
