Applied for a job online yesterday afternoon, received a call from the agency within ten minutes asking if they could forward my CV to the employer (doh!).
Had a call today at 12:30 asking me to go for an interview at 14:30 - walked out of the place at 15:30 & within ten minutes took a call offering me the job.

Less than i was on before but told my pay will be bumped up in a month if i do well.

Time to crack open the Shiraz i think!

Well done.

Great to get it all done so quick, I hate it when they keep you hanging on for ages after an interview.

Just had my occupational health medical - apparently my lung capacity is 111% of what it should be! 8)

It's a job with a local engineering firm, less than i was on before redundancy but a good chance of moving up the pay scale pretty quickly.

Just got to get my head around the idea of getting up early again now!
