Been trying to read about Rab Wardell but the page keeps freezing, can't scroll, can't go any further. It's only happening on that thread, not happening on any other thread or any other site/page.

Seems to be the stw towers-created threads that are problematic but logging in sorts it for me
Funnily enough the page froze when I was reading this thread and I had to reload it so maybe there’s a site wide glitch just now
Seems to have improved but at night time I’d keep getting the same and an error message, made the site almost unusable. Seems worse on Safari / better on Chrome.

Yep, as above, Stw hq posts freeze and crash my android opera browser.
On other threads pressing an embedded thread link sends me to the subscribe/member advert that I can't dismiss. I can't reply to anything through opera either so I'm on chrome now to reply but getting hammered by ads.
Yes I should subscribe, but what if it doesn't actually get any better if I do?
It seems to be a new glitch, best report it if you haven't done yet. I got 502 bad gateway on my first attempt to reply to this thread even on the PC, if you see this the second attempt worked.

Had this ^^^^ for months on chrome (android phone), only on stw created threads (every single one I've tried to look at), never user created threads

Not successfully read a FGF either, for several weeks now. Fine on my laptop, phone is un-useable
Computer power shouldn't affect webpages loading AIUI, but it does seem to on STW
Same internet connection but my 7-year old Asus EeeBook often throws a "Page Unresponsive" error, "Waiting for pagead2.googlesyndication.com" and it seems to be connected to those page preview links that appear in threads. Laptop is fine

It's not exactly optimised for Opera either. In that it throws up a 403 'Forbidden' Error, and you have to change to the desktop site to proceed...
It's not your phone.
Chrome also a shitshow for me.

You know what, as a full member, I never never get any of the issues described by all the posts above.
I wonder whether there is a correlation between being a free member, and having a frustrating experience on the site, that a subscription (less than the price of 1 coffee per month) wouldn't sort?
