got an ipod touch for chrimble, didn't want one until it was sat there gleaming and sleek in my hand.
so far i'm very impressed except for a couple of things, the gps doesn't work in pembrokeshire which is no big surprise nor is it a problem as i'm in sheffield. the most annoying thing is the bloody music. i can't for love nor money get itunes to show my tracks as an album list. it'll list my tracks on itunes and that's in line with what i want but it won't sow them as albums it's almost like it thinks they're all seperate tracks. what am i doing wrong?
cheers.
Your GPS doesn't work in Pembrokeshire as the iPod Touch doesn't have a GPS sensor built-in. In some circumstances, it may be able to show your location as it knows the location of the Wi-Fi connection you are using.
Sorry
Rachel
I found that some display album title ok but other don't for some reason.
You may need to check the tags on your MP3 files and correct them using one of the free tag downloads you can get on the web.
GPS answer as above.
cheers rachel, bit cleverer than i thought but not as clever as i'd hoped.
cheers eggbox, i'll give it a try. liking it though it's far more than a music player.
Sadly the Touch, as mentioned, does not have GPS, which I think is a shame. As far as the album list is concerned, on my phone in the iPod app it just shows artist or song at the bottom, but when I go into artist where I know I have songs imported from a number of albums, those albums are individually listed and I can select a particular album which then allows me to play individually, in order, or shuffled, the tracks from that particular album. I'm not sure what the problem you're having is, TBH.
