Have an Ipod full of songs, and an existing itunes library on the old PC. Is there an easy way of copying the itunes library to the imac using the ipod, or will I have to painstakingly move the music across using a memory stick?
Looked around on the net, but am bewildered.
Cheers
Are they both on the same network? If so, share the music folder on the PC, access it from the mac, set itunes to manage your music for you and import songs, drag-and-drop from PC to itunes.
no - the pc is just sat there, internet is knackered on it....
Download something like yamipod onto imac, then just plug in the ipod and use the program o copy off all the music. simples
I just used senuti, copied over most of them.
Cheers
If you have a USB drive use that otherwise enable the iPod for disk use, if necessary clear the songs from it and then use it to copy from computer 1 to computer 2. Job done.
Or use this to move everything from the iPod to the iMac: http://www.kennettnet.co.uk/products/musicrescue/
