HI i have a nano 3rd gen and fancy a shuffle for running, will the charger cable (usb) work with a shuffle (the squarish ones) if the shuffle has no dock with it

Don't get it? The Nano is surely small enough to run with anyway so why get the Shuffle?

No, the ipod shuffle connects to the computer usb via cable that plugs into the headphone jack.
