Iphone 6s stopped seeing Networks. Any ideas?

I bought a 6 month old second hand Iphone 6s for my wife but it has stopped seeing the Networks. Its open to all but she's on Tesco O2.
Tried re-setting allsorts of stuff. Tried other SIM cards.
Anyone had this & fixed it?
Have I got to have the back off it?

2nd hand one has been reported stolen and IMEI has been blocked in UK.

It has been working fine but I will ask Mrs imp to check this out, thanks.
Coverage wise we are OK.

My sons iPhone 5s did this last year, just consonantly reads 'searching', also wouldn't do a software update.

Googled it and it's a known issue, fix suggested heating up phone with a hardryer to reset chip. I was dubious about that but gave it a go, worked for about an hour.

Not sure if it's worth getting fixed or not.
