Im still using my 3GS and am reasonably happy with it. It's out of warranty now though, and it slowing up. The camera is rubbish too. So - is the 4s worth it? Not bothered about Siri tbh, and I'm not interested in another manufacturer either. All input welcome!

I have a 3GS, 4 and 4S..
Big step up is from 3GS to 4. 4S is marginal improvement over 4 in terms of camera resolution (better) and processor speed (not noticed this at all to be honest). 4S is way worse in terms of battery life compared to 4.
My advice would be upgrade to a 4.

I went from the 3GS to the 4s a while ago.
Main difference is speed, camera & screen quality/resolution.
Definitely worth it.
I recently went from a 3gs to a 4s, it is noticeably faster. The display is sharper than the 3gs as the 4 and 4s have retina display. The camera is 8mp and can shoot HD video and also HDR photos... I think the 4s also has a better camera lens, the quality of photos are alot better. Other than that no real difference in day to day use (I don't use Siri).

How much worse is the battery between the 4 and 4s
The battery in the 4s is way better than it was in my old 3gs
4s battery is pretty good, so much better than my old HTC desire
I find my 4S is slightly worse than the 3S. My 4 lasts several days, the 4S runs flat every day even with most functions turned off to try and squeeze more life out of it.
