Just swapped from a 3G to a 3GS and need a new screen protector, usually go for the Martin Fields one, but they seem to be £18 for 2 now....which while they have good clarity is just a bit pricey.

So....any recommendations?

Don't bother. 18 months knocking round in my pocket/bag didn't affect mine too much.

Just got an iPhone 4 and not putting one on this either.

I had a martin fields and it was pretty good, a few scratches on it after a years use.

I've gone for a Zagg Invisible Shield this time, as the video shows they are pretty scratch resistant and extremely protective.

I wouldn't bother with one for the back, the 3GS is curved and a lot of them peel on the curved edges.

The amount of times I've dropped it, slide it across something abrasive; I'd hate to think what the screen would like now if I didnt have it protected.

Never bothered on mine either. (I don't like screen protectors as they always make the display look fuzzy and they don't wipe clean as easily)

I have one very slight scratch where I dropped it, which you can only see if you hold the phone at an angle. Other than that it is mint after a years use.

What you need is an iProtector

I just got a pack of 5 cheap ones on ebay and they were fine - couldn't even notice once I got them applied neatly (eg no bubbles!).

I don't use them now though - just decided that there was no need.

Don't they have more resilient glass on the new one anyway?

Can I have one of the other four then?

OT: Are you rowing these days clubber or are you still taking a break from it?

I am spotting a distinct pattern here.

Haven't been in a boat for over two years now darcy... Keep meaning to get out some time with some other ex-rowers though.

Come to Ariel and row with the Vets 🙂

You even get invited on swinging weekends sometimes 😉
