Get a Star Trek outfit, put on the gentlemen's interest and fap while pretending you're Captain Picard.

Shouting 'Engage' is taking it too far, apparently.

You can keep up to date and post on here whilst 'on the throne'...

Bbc Iplayer is essential I find.

If you have sky+ subscription you can install "sky go" and have all the sky channels you subscribe to on the move.

And also use sky anytime+ for a massive collection of movies etc.

Do you think this might be why I keep getting funny looks on the bus?

4 on demand, ITV Player and five on demand worth adding to your arsenal as well I reckon...

Buy another one, then 2 iPad smart covers...

You've got yourself some fancy matching bookends then! 😉

Get yourself a singletrack premier subscription and then get access to the entire back catalogue of the magazine on your iPad. That's what I'd do, but cant justify £400 on an iPad!

Starwalk
Kindle
GarageBand
If you're at all musical there are loads of apps that allow you to be creative. There's an excellent MOOG synth, and sequencers that have all the features of the original hardware.
I emailed details of a MOOG app that was featured on boingboing to a mate at work who plays and he spent seven hours solid playing with it, several of his mates promptly went and bought it when he demo'd it, and two or three others said 'right, that's it, I'm buying an iPad!'
There's some amazing stuff available for it.

MemoryMap is great if you like OS maps ... not cheap though as the app is £20 and thats assuming you already have the maps. But having all the OS maps for Scotland on the iPad is quite handy 🙂

Flipboard, BBC News, Scrabble are good. Newstand is good too if you get the magazines cheap or free - they sometimes have sales. Kindle / iBooks too.
