With the death of my laptop I am considering an Ipad2 for photojournalism, PR and web work, but I have just heard that there is an issue with file uploads (in wordpress but probably more) can anyone shed some light on this and if it's correct if there is a way round it?
No file upload in the browser, just like the iPhone. Apps designed for particular sites/services are the way round it. There are lots of Flickr upload apps for instance. The Wordpress app lets you do photo uploads too.
Or get an android tablet, like the motorala xoom, which allows you to upload files from the browser no problem.
