He's being doing a few interviews recently (Front Row, Mojo) as he has a book out. Apart from the personal stuff he also comments that he and Cook while not exactly musos still wanted to play well. They were influenced more by the Faces than the standard punk progenitors such as the New York Dolls. His guitar on Pretty Vacant is still up there with the great one-offs.
Gutted I missed it, will catch up on listen again.
