Archive of music, films, games, books etc all free. According to the bumff* it is all legal and free to use too! Had a quick search and some recent offerings on there as well as older stuff.
*Don't know how to spell bumff so just had a guess.

(p.s. Internet Archive has been going for yonks. Very useful for old web sites and preserving stuff, but yeah public domain films etc too and loads of old video games).
