Insulated plasterboard how do I fix it to stuff? It'll be going on the ceiling fixed to the battens on the underside of a flat roof. Is there a special type of fixing specifically for insulated plasterboard or not? Also does anyone have an inkling of what sort of thickness insulation I'd need? This is going to be the only insulation on the ceiling so I assume it would be best to get the thickest available.

I would have suggested long drywall screws, but it depends how thick your insulation is.

As ernie says. Just drywall screws but don't get them just 10mm over the size of your boards 😉

Oh and the secret is to not burst the outer when screwing them in as they don't hold as well when into the plaster.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll look to see what thickness boards I'll need.
