That's what I thought 😆 Keep going mate, they're always worth a look. I was going to do a 'star' based pic the other day, but I ended up building a wheel instead. 😀

I've done a couple more but haven't bothered posting. Which sort of defeats the object I suppose 🙂

Anyway, they were crap. Your pictures are much better.

Come on Mogrim, post them. I'd like to see them. No drawing is rubbish if you enjoyed doing it.

I have just noticed a TM has appeared on the Inktober logo 🙁

Dont know why but this has turned me off the Inktober brand a bit 🙁

Hope its not just a vehicle for Jake Parker enterprises.

It'll be a damn shame if Parker tries to start making a profit from the whole Inktober thing.  I don't do the whole hastag malarkey so only really use it as an excuse to force myself to draw something.

Anyhoo, today's is 13. Guarded

Why, not like you are forced to buy something? If the boy can make a few quid at it, hell if he can make a killing at it, all the best to him I say.

It has no effect on whether I will or won't pick up a pen in a given October (which I will do again (too busy taking the concept elsewhere and learning wordpress/php/javascript at the mo tbh over a longer term)).

some good stuff on this thread btw, keep at it. It was great having the full 31 drawings to look back at last year seeing the progress.

Love that whale btw dez, great movement in it.

Cheers, was trying to go for a nice perspective look, but the roof went wonky. 🙂

Too much bike stuff to do today, might have a go at 'weak' tomorrow.

OMG! Landscape Artist of the Year has just started - not sure if it’s inks, but there’s a young woman’s b&w submission that is absolutely glorious. The lines and marks and shading, oh to be able to draw like that...

Fat

[img] [/img]

Been a bit crap lately, with not a lot of time. Love the guards BTW.

Re. the (TM) thing - I wonder if that's not just him keeping Inktober safe from commercial interests? If he didn't tm it anyone could make money from it?

Edit: oops. Fat was day 16 but 2017. Never mind 🙂

Very good, that pregnant one.

I tried (a bit of) colour in my "swollen"  - problem is, it looks fine from a bit of distance, but up close a bit of a mess, so annnyway (squint) -

Further away 😀

I keep thinking about doing something in colour but fancy the challenge of getting through with 3 pens and a pad of paper which cost less than £2 in total.

Turns out drawing glass is damn hard. I gave up after the third attempt below.

Can I just say,

I don't have an artistic bone in my body.  I'm sincerely in awe of some of the posts on this thread.  There's some real talent here.

Certainly with ink... which is one of the reasons I went for a different bottle 🙂
